Event Details : Jodo Gyan is a non funded nonprofit organization working in the area of primary school mathematics and science since 1999. For the last ten years we have been involved in improving the quality of mathematics education in primary schools. In this intense effort of interacting with teachers and children, we were able to design a curriculum, which have been tried out in a few schools and the result has been very encouraging.
In the wake of National Curriculum Framework, 2005, there has been considerable discussion in our country about activity-based education and constructivism. This has strengthened the search for appropriate materials to support the learning of mathematics with understanding.  Jodo Gyan has developed a programme for sharing the key activities from our classroom practices. This programme is currently being implemented in more than 20 schools across the country involving CBSE, ICSE and IB boards.
In order to share this experience, we would like to invite you to our Resource Centre at Jia Sarai during 24 to 29 January 2011 (except for 26th Jan). During these days we are conducting an exhibition at our teacher resource centre. We would also like to invite you and your institution to participate in the demonstration and exhibition.
