Event Details : ICCR & Italian Embassy presents 'Accademia Teatro alla Scala Ballet'.

The Embassy of Italy in India is honored to present for the f irst time in India the ballet Ipnos by

Accademia Teatro alla Scala. This ballet is a landmark event in the framework of the rich cultural

exchange program for the year 2011 between Italy and India. The Accademia Teatro alla Scala

shows a high level dance performing group of young artists which have met a remarkable success in Italy.

Dance being a traditional form of artistic expression in India, I am conf ident that the Indian public will highly appreciate the elegant ways of dancing of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala interpreters and their ability to combine the art and tradition of the Italian Ballet with Indian fragrances and sounds.
