Event Details : “Lutyens’ Delhi”, the name evokes a picture of wide tree lined roads, stately bungalows, Delhi’s political past, and the architect Lutyens himself. But how much do we really know about the most recognized place in India?
Through a walk in this area of Delhi we will explore beyond what the British left behind after their long reign over India and the transformation of this area through the ages.
... The walking route will take us through the various layers of this region over time, from the remnants of a medieval time, to the high rise buildings and to a now dominating the skyline.
