Event Details : Sunita Menon –Founder Director of Kaladarppanam and Bharatanatyam dancer trained in both the Pandanallur and Kalakshetra styles of will perform a series of Bharatanatyam recital along with her troupe in the capital as part of a 41-days Ayyappa festival ( Mandala Vilakku). The deity Ayyappa is said to have been born from the union of Shiva and Vishnu (in the latter’s enchantress avatar, Mohini).
