The birth of Hungarian literature as well some of the greatest of work of Hungarian poets are connected to folk literature. Hungarian poets and writers, historians and ethnographers, educationists and musicians, music bands and performers often turn to legends, heroic songs, folk songs, anecdotes, and folk tales. During the evening we will present some Hungarian folk literature in Hungarian and in Hindi or English in order to introduce a very vital part of Hungarian life.
