Event Details : Geeta Chandran presents Arangetram Performance of her disciple R. Amrithasruthi.
Learning Bharatanatyam at Natya Vriksha, R. Amrithasruthi has been under the tutelage of Geeta Chandran for the past 11 years. A keen learner and an accomplished dancer, she has been performing as part of the Natya Vriksha Dance Company, and has toured with the Company both in India and abroad.
A student of Class XII at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, Amritha is School Prefect and was just awarded certificates applauding her contributions to leadership in school activities and for her excellence in classical dance.
In 2009, Amritha participated in the Community Development and Leadership International Summit hosted by Modern School. Also in 2009, as part of a school exchange programme, Amritha visited schools in Virginia and North Carolina in the US, where she performed for highly appreciative student audiences.
Amritha has danced for many organizations in Delhi. She has also won many awards and honours for her dance; she cherishes being awarded by the Delhi Malayalee Association as outstanding dancer.
A zonal-level basket ball player, Amrita is also interested in music.
But above all, Amritha simply loves to dance! And idolizes Geeta Chandran.

Self is Shanthi Kumaradhas from Chennai, Ms. Amritha's auty (her mom Mrs. Prabavathy Radhan's college mate/friend), unfortunately we could not able to attend Ms. Amritha's programme, so please advise when you are telecasting her programme at south india channel.
ReplyDeleteEven we attended the programme which you conducted at Chennai last year, hope that theme was related to "female's strength" compared to pancha boodhas - if i hv misunderstood the theme please correct me, that programme was also presented in a different way.
