Event Details : 'Devi-The Ethos of Empowerment' an exhibition of paintings by Camellia Suman and Biswajit Das.
Camellia Suman's Comment : By means of this exhibition, I hope to present and portray the evolution of woman through the various phases with different shades.
On one side there are images depicting shades of old epics and on the other hand contemporary images depicting the transition,
with distinct colors, portraying the advancement and the centre stage roles that the woman has acquired in a contemporary society.
I have also made an attempt towards symbolically depicting 'empowerment' and sending out a message for people to understand
and appreciate the old and new shades of woman and the transition towards ' Emancipation'.
