FOOD & SHOPPING FAIR : Teej Festival at Dilli Haat ( Pitampura ) - 1st to 4th August 08

  • Time : 11.00 am – 10:00 pm
  • Event Details : Teez Festival is back at Dilli Haat Pitampura. Last year, the Haat wasn't officially opened but still the Teez mela did well. This year it should attract more crowd as it's constructed completely and gaining popularity too.
  • There will be swings, stalls of mehandi, chooris/bangles, handicrafts & handlooms, gift items, spice in the festival. There will be food stalls selling Ghevar, Dal Bati Choorma and other mouth watering regional delicacies of India.
  • Teej Bazars have been set up with colourful stalls selling Mehendi, Bindi and Choori & festive fabric of “Lehariya” etc. There will also be cultural programmes and competitions like bindi making, best hair style, mehandi lagao gift pao, turban tying competition, fancy dress, most photogenic child, kite flying etc. by VSPK Phulwari.
  • There will be art exhibition & much more....

    Dilli haat near subhash nagar is different and pitampura is at different location.

    It's near pitampura but still it's called dilli haat pitampura
