Chandni Chowk

Chandni Chowk ( Sundays Closed ) was designed by Jahanara, daughter of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1650 AD. Initially, Jahanara build the Ashrafi Bazaar ( Money Exchange Market ) there which had a large pool in the centre and in nights, the moonlight used to spread all over. Thus, the place was called Chandni Chowk. This is one of the oldest & busiest market in delhi offering books, electronics, clothes & more. It attracts a large number of tourists from all over the world.

Katra Neel
It's a cloth bazzar where you can find clothers of various types like Silk, satin, cotton, muslin & more.
Bhagirath Palace
It's a place for electrical goods, also known for medical equipment and allopathic medicines. Locals know this as Chooriwali ki Haveli ( The Bangle Seller’s Palace ).
Kinari Bazaar
Sarees of all kinds are available here. A good place for buy Indian Bridal Dress.
Dariba Kalan
This place was full of Gold & Silver jewellery shops but these days very few jewellers are there who produce silver jewellery only. You will also find Gulab Singh Johri Mal's Perfume shop which was established in 1819.
Chhatta Chowk Bazaar / Meena bazaar
Chhatta Chowk Bazaar has artificial & semi-precious jewellery, handicrafts items, embroidered bags, hand painted wall hangings & antiques ( which are fake ).
Nai Sarak 
It has wholesale and retail market of school books mainly. 
Ballimaran
It is known for Mirza Asad Ullah Khan Ghalib's Haveli in Gali Qasim Jan
It has shops of leather goods and shoes. And it also has one of the biggest optical store market in Asia offering eyewear products including spectacles, contact lenses, goggles etc. 
Old Lajpat Rai Market
Good place to shop for Electrical goods.
Cycle Market
Cycle Market for bicycles.
Photography Market
It offers Camcorders, Digital Cameras, Tripods, Batteries and other Related Accessories.
Moti Bazar
A market for shawls and pearls.

Tips : Preferable mode of transport is cycle rickshaw or walk on foot. Bargain for the right price while shopping. Wear conservative dress as this part of delhi is very conservative.
