Event Description : MUSIC : Marvel of Jugalbandi, a live concert series in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, is a celebration of the true spirit of Jugalbandi (Duet) - a classical music format which is a big favourite with all audiences. Sitar & Sarod are, in many ways the ideal instruments to be paired up for a duet. A long-standing Sitar & Sarod duet is now a rarity in the world of Indian classical music. Lakshay Mohan & Aayush Mohan bring to this tour some of their finest repertoire and the true essence of a classical duet. 

ABOUT ARTISTS
Lakshay Mohan and Aayush Mohan have gained an immense following among music lovers all over the nation during the past few years with their unique way of presenting Sitar - Sarod duets.
They have been acknowledged as one of the greatest cultural motivators and icons for the younger generation for preserving and propagating Indian Classical Music. They are the first Indians to be invited to perform at the Grammy Museum, Los Angeles. India Today hailed them as harbingers of classical music in 2016.

They have performed across the globe at prestigious festivals and venues some of which are the Grammy Museum, Los Angeles ; LearnQuest Music Conference, Boston ; David & Dorthea Garfield Theatre, San Diego ; Abbey Theatre, Dublin ; Sawai Gandharva Festival, Pune ; Gunidas Sangeet Sammelan ; Mumbai ; Saptak Festival, Ahmedabad ; Taj Mahotsav, Agra. 

Lakshay & Aayush are known to connect to all kinds of listeners while preserving and incorporating old musical compositions and techniques in their playing. Their album 'The Hidden Harmony " was nominated for GIMA Awards.
