Event Description : JD Rock Awards.
The 9th edition of the JD Rock awards is the biggest and longest running annual awards ceremony celebrating excellence in independent Indian music. In the past, the event has awarded the best that the Indian music scene has to offer with artists like Papon, The Raghu Dixit Project, Indus Creed, Scribe, Swarathma, Skyharbor, Pentagram and many of the Indian independent music scene's most popular artists scoring awards at past editions.

This year the run-up to the Jack Daniel's Rock Awards saw pre-event build up gigs in Pune and Bangalore. And now in Delhi. 

We have invited the best emerging artists from the city and around, to perform at Hard Rock Cafe. These artists have been making waves in the music circuit over the past two years. Their live performances and discography will help one of these young bands per city gain a nomination into this year's 'Best Emerging Artist' category. Rolling Stone India will also nominate bands from other parts of the country.
