7th April : Mama Julia - Colombia
Cultural ties of India and Colombia to grow stronger with ICCR’s Fiesta Latin Americana (first Latin American festival of music and dance in India) 'Mama Julia – Urban Sounds and Salsa'.
Colombia to represent the best musical band of 2011 in ICCR’s first Latin American festival of music and dance in India.
Delhi is just 10 days away, before it could witness the very first Latin American festival of music and dance organized by ICCR. Colombia with some other Latin American will be participating in this great initiative.
Over the years, India has been formulating some great initiatives in their policy and regulatory framework for the Latin American and Carribean nations and the LAC has also responded very well. But amongst all, Colombia has been proactive in participating in all the initiatives and have been very successful in cultural front.
This year Colombia has decided to bring the best music band of 2011, Mama Julia – Urban Sounds and Salsa, which will be playing in New Delhi and Chandigarh during the festival.
H.E Juan Alfredo Pinto, Ambassador of Colombia has been known to promote and bring new and modern techniques in promoting and marketing about their cultural event and forums. For the first time ever, this year New Delhi will be hearing about this event on Air on one of the most popular Radio Station.
We expect to reach out to each and every person in Delhi and want to spread the message of love and happiness without any barrier of caste, religion or age group through this concert on April 7, said Ambassador Pinto.
