Event Details : Gandharva Mahavidyalaya presents 'Svanubhava' 3-day festival.
Svanubhava is a unique festival being organized primarily for young enthusiasts of performing arts. It aims to spread awareness of the richness and diversity of India’s numberless art-forms amongst the young generation by organizing Indian classical and folk performances of music and dance, along with talks, seminars, theatre presentations and films by eminent artistes from different parts of the country. It is a cultural movement for the students, by the students.
The thrust areas of Svanubhava are:
To create a community of students of the performing arts and instill in them a sense of ownership, belonging and pride, breaking all barriers of institutions and styles.
To provide students with an opportunity to directly interact and learn from great artistes, since such opportunities are not generally available to them. For this, each performance will be followed by an
interaction between the artistes and the audience.
To develop a sense of respect and mutual understanding amongst students towards the various art forms.
To create a future generation that will contribute to the Indian performing arts, irrespective of their own pursuits.
To create rasikas or knowledgeable art contemplators, besides professional artistes.
Every presentation will be followed by an interaction with the artistes.
