• Event Info : Delhi Poetree presents Poetry Readings by The Hundred Poets.
• This event at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi at 6.30pm is all set to make poetry history in the capital.It is the biggest poetry reading in over 150 years.100 poets in ages 7 to 94 are going to be reading their hearts out in a unique format tht is making poetry so attractive for elhiites that there is often no standing room at DP readings.
  
  
• Chief Guest : The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi has confirmed she will attend the 100 poets reading.
  
• 1 minute format; Every poet irrespective of stature reads a poem of 1 minute duration. For the audience this elevates the experience to the level of a delicious tasting menu in a fine dining experience. The format makes the evening interesting, exciting and very enjoyable. 713 people packed an auditorium meant for 425 at the Stein Auditorium on the 7th of August 2007.
  
• 2500 audience. By far the biggest audience for a poetry meet in living memory.
  
• Honouring 5 poets as the Champions for Poetry in Delhi.
  
• Announcing two poets' elevation to the Poetry Hall of Fame.
