Renowned director Christian Petzold has created a summer film that brings together four young people in a vacation home on the Baltic Sea. They work, swim and three of them are in high spirits. Only Leon, the fourth, is constantly annoyed. He's writing a book he doesn't like, is in love with Nadja but doesn't tell her, sulks because he's an outsider, even though he'd like to belong. Petzold tells a relatable story about self-reflection and group psychology - until the forest around them starts to burn. Only then does Leon's moodiness end, as now everyone is confronted with a real dangerous situation.
