Ishavasya Upanishad discourse by Celebrating India.

The discourse, by Rajyashree Agarwala, aims to bring out the importance of Ishavasya Upanishad, which is one of the shortest and is a Mukhya (primary) Upanishad.

The 18 Sanskrit verses of this Upanishad text will be chanted, translated and then explained in detail.

Rajyashree Agarwala is an ex-banker and IT professional. She is passionate about Indian Heritage particularly Hindustani Music and Indian Texts. She is an IIT Kanpur and Delhi University alumnus. In addition to her numerous professional degrees, she holds Post Graduate Diploma in Heritage Studies from INTACH Heritage Academy, New Delhi and Senior Diploma (Vocal) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. She has been associated with Vedanta Institute New Delhi for more than twenty years. She has been conducting sessions on Ishavasya Upanishad and Shrimad Bhagwad Gita since April 2020. In 2020 she has founded celebratingindia.org to showcase, celebrate and promote Indian heritage and culture.
