Sacred Games is an Indian Web TV Series based on the novel by Vikram Chandra with the same name. 

Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) is a troubled but honest police officer who gets a call from gangster Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who tells him to save the city from cataclysm. The series chronicles the events that follow. 

A link in their pasts leads an honest cop to a fugitive gang boss, whose cryptic warning spurs the officer on a quest to save Mumbai from cataclysm.
