68th Mann Ki Baat by PM Narendra Modi focuses on Self Reliant India

PM Narendra Modi addressed the 68th session of Mann Ki Baat on 30 August 2020 and focused on Made in India initiative for Toys, Festivals and Environment, Nutrition for Kids, Role of Dogs in National Security, New Innovations in the Country.

PM Modi said that many unique toys being made in India since ages but still India lags behind many countries in global toy industry which is a shame and he encourages start-ups to work on toy production for a self-reliant India. 

Toy making also included in National Education Policy now. 

He also said that many of our festivals also ensures environment conservation. 

He also talked about the role of Dogs in national security and encouraged us to bring home Indian Breeds of Dogs.

He also discussed Aatmanirbhar Bharat App Innovation Challenge and the many interesting apps developed by Indias.
