The superlative artistic skill of Artist Roop Chand, ingrained in the lap of Indian ethnicity, is sure to grab your attention. Imbued with positivity and contentment he lets out his energies and abilities to bloom in their entirety. For a glimpse of the same Artist Roop Chand Showcasing Landscapes, streetscapes and seascapes in the beautiful black and white strokes with a dash of red in Acrylic on Canvas medium.

Delhi Based Artist Roop Chand, born in 1975, graduated from University of Delhi, and is a Diploma holder in fine arts. His painting has been exhibited in the Rashtrapati Bhavan with famous artists of the country for which the country’s first woman President Hon’ble Pratibha Patil honored them in the year 2007.Received National First Prize in Cartoon Contest organized by the Ministry of Health. National Award was given by All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society for their drawing. Similarly, the “Rotary Kala Vibhushan Award” by the Kala Ratna Award, All India Journalists Front, by the “Rajdhani Rattan Samman”, the award of the Guru Dronacharya  Award by Avantika, “Imva Best Social Artists Award” by the Indian Media Welfare Association. Camlin Award, honor by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Vocational Service Excellence Award etc. have received many honors.

The exhibition of paintings of Roop Chand has been exhibited with Solo and Group  in the countries including the Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic,  Dubai   Global Art Fair, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Ashoka Hotel, India Habitat Center, Lalit Kala Akademi, the Nehru Center of Mumbai, the visual arts gallery of Delhi organized in Dubai and their artifacts are collected along with many prominent personalities including India including London, America, France, China, Pakistan, Australia, Kuwait etc.

There are countless achievements of the artist Roopchand in which they consider their art a medium of social service. Under this, they have worked on many social topics, which include mutual unity, peace and brotherhood, humanity, God is one, environmental protection, embryo killings, Population control, Nasha Mukti, tribute to Kalam saheb, remembrance of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.Artist Roopchand, in order to assist the victims of the storm in Orissa, made a picture of the people in front of Orissa Pavilion at Pragati Maidan, and collected the funds and sent it to the Orissa Relief Fund. In the Kargil war, the soldiers presented to the injured soldiers with their hand-made greeting cards at the Army and Base Hospital of Delhi. Indo-Paki made a painting of peace message on a cricket ball for peace and presented Pakistani cricketer Javed Miandad as a peace symbol at the Lotus Temple spot in Zee News’s Live Program.

“Damini Rape Case shattered the whole world. You would have noticed that due to the judgment of Damini on Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, many painters had raised their voice by sitting on the ground through their painting, all those artworks were made by artist Roopchand with the help of associate organizations. Discussed continuously in the media of foreign countries. And the contribution of these criminals to their conclusions was appreciable. Similarly, when you have visited Lodhi Gardens in Delhi, you have seen beautiful artifacts on the garbage set on them. On some of those dustbins, artist Rupanchand painted her painting as well. The walls of the University of Delhi are also equipped with its own artifacts.


Through Roopchand painting, due to social work, there has always been a subject of discussion, the achievements of their art world, including foreign media, including India, are also appreciated by giving very prominent place.
