Event Description : Behroopiya Entertainers presents "The Matriarch and 2 Spoons of Sugar" Hinglisy Comedy Play.
Behroopiya Entertainers and C2f: First Class brings to you a play by children largely based on Hrishikesh Mukherjee's classic Khoobsurat, the play is set in contemporary times in an upper middle class family's home. What happens when a disciplinarian mother who runs her house and controls her family to the tee comes across a fun loving, cheerful and a happy-go- lucky girl forms the crux of the play.
The play happens in a flashback when an old jewellery store owner narrates the above storyline to a newly engaged couple when they ask for a specific ring as he is reminded of his youth when he sees the new couple. However, only a few minutes before the couple's arrival an unknown man has just left the stage. Who he is and what his role is in connection with the story is the twist at the end.
Two Clowns and Two Robots and will act as sutradhar of the play and will be omnipresent.
