Event Description : THEATRE "M​anohar Kahaniya" by ​Shapno Ekhon.

​About the play : ​​They​ have started a series of plays named “Manohar Kahaniya”. This series is planned to bring up issues of gender based sexual violence and the role of society and the state in such cases. We intend to tell the stories of women who have faced sexual violence but have stood up and demanded justice. The first in this series is based on Suzette Jordan, whose story gained media attention as the Park Street Rape case in Kolkata.
This play is designed as an interactive presentation wherein we attempt to engage the audience in a dialogue on the issue and the possible ways to stop rape.
