Event Description : "Carbon 12" is an artistic residency and exhibition project to take place in Jaipur and New Delhi, India, April, 2016. It bring together 12 dedicated international artists from France, Iran, Ivory Coast, Lithuania, Mexico, Norway, South Africa, South Korea, The United States, And one Earth Science writer. CARBON 12 is a hymn to the earth, universal mother and source of life, symbol of fertility. Carbon Exists in different forms and CARBON 12 is the most naturally and abundantly available on earth. Through millennia of our presence on earth, demonstrated in charcoal drawn images in ancient caves, right up to the hope that there may be life on other planets, carbon is the link between our past and our future. Today, it represents global concerns: strategic resources through fossil fuels in the form of diamonds and petrol. It is at the heart of current ecological debate.
