Event Description : Tamaasha presents "Blank Page" Hindi Play.
Blank Page is a celebration of the spoken word through theatre, music, and movement. Poems written in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Kashmiri by some of India’s finest contemporary poets are interpreted by a group of multi talented performers. Blank Page explores themes such as conflicted relationships, political resistance, identity, and the intense act of writing itself.

Kedarnath Singh, Arundhathi Subramaniam, Mamta Kalia, Sapan Saran, Anamika, Nissim Ezekiel, Sujata Bhatt, Meena Kandasamy, PS Rege, Adil Jussawala, Imtiaz Dharker, Pratibha Nandkumar, Waman Dada, Namdeo Dhasal, Radhey Nath ‘Masarrat'

Tamaasha is an exciting theatre company that looks to explore new texts, new ideas, new talent, and new venues for performance.They have had successful seasons at Avenue 29 in Santa Cruz, F2 in Khar West, shows in Ahmedabad, at Sudarshan Rangamanch in Pune, and at Kusumagraj Pratishthan in Nasik. They continue to network with other venues across the city, including bars and libraries! Their performances are exclusively developed for these spaces, and they hope to engage with, and provoke, discerning audiences with their style of theatre. Tamaasha also engages with a wider idea of theatre through initiatives such as Theatre Jams where they create a supportive space for actors, writers, and directors to share their work with peers, and reading Theatre, a series of readings of milestone Indian theatre texts.
