Cornelia Funke will read from the English translations of her Inkheart Trilogy and from the 3rd volume of her Reckless series which came out only recently: The Golden Yarn.

Cornelia Funke is Germany’s most popular and successful author of books for children and young adults. There are many grown-ups though who are fond of her books. She started her career as an author and illustrator in Hamburg but now lives in Los Angeles, California. After her studies in education and graphic design she started a professional career as an illustrator for children’s books. 
Not always happy with the stories she illustrated she began to write herself. By now Cornelia Funke has written more than 50 books and they have been published in over 40 different languages.
