Event Description : The Opening Gala of 9th Delhi International Arts Festival, 2015 (DIAF) will be a rare treat to the eyes with ‘Vande Mataram’ – a breath taking multi-style dance production directed by dancer Prathibha Prahlad, followed by a cross cultural fusion between the ‘The Taiwan Bamboo Orchestra’ and the ‘Bamboo Symphony’ from Kerala. A rare concert featuring Arabic and Hebrew music performed by the renowned Soof Band from Israel will be followed by enthralling ‘Whirling Dervish’ from Egypt.
