Event Description : YODDHAS in association with NCC cordially invite you to Youth Awareness Campaign about Cancer.
About the Awareness Campaign : YODDHAS ( UNESCO awarded NGO, working towards cancer awareness and cancer support in India) in association with NCC presents an awareness campaign to raise awareness about Cancer on 8th August at Army Parade Ground from 11 am to 1 pm. The Campaign is a collaborative initiative by YODDHAS & NCC to educate the youngsters about the disease and to educate them to adopt a healthy lifestyle to ensure good health.The event will witness a gathering of 2000 NCC kids along with army officials to indulge in activities to spread the awareness about Cancer. The awareness campaign will be graced with a motivational speech by Major General S.N Yadav and introduction of YODDHAS as the an online patient support network trying to make a change the lives of Cancer survivors and their families. The awareness campaign will begin with the inauguration & motivational speech of the chief guest which will be followed by various programs & fun activities like plays by the team of YODDHAS, dance performance by a group. The dance performance will incorporate a lyrical drama based on cancer and will showcase the whole journey of the battle with Cancer.The event will witness the doctors who will be sharing further information on the treatment process, precautions of Cancer. Also, Yoddhas will highlight the case study of a patient who won the battle of Cancer and will be honored at the ground only. All the students of NCC will take an oath at the parade ground to not to smoke or indulge in any kind of activities which cause cancer and will work towards a better lifestyle.
About YODDHAS: YODDHAS is UNESCO awarded NGO, working towards cancer awareness and cancer support in India started by Mr. Rahul Yadav. As the name suggests “YODDHAS” which means a fighter, people who are fighting the war of Cancer to thrive a life. The founder Rahul Yadav is also battling for his life from Blood Cancer. Its aim is to provide a platform for Patients/Caregivers/doctors to connect and help each other in their battle with Cancer. It gives a chance to all the members to explore & discuss the best hospitals, treatment regimes, food, exercises, alternatives etc. YODDHAS is making an effort to promote awareness about Stem Cell Donorship to ease out the complexity of Blood Cancer's treatment. With a vision to be the most reliable source of information for anyone dealing with cancer in India, YODDHAS is bringing a change to the lives of the cancer patients & their families.
