Avighn Theatre Group is presenting combo of four gems from World Literature in the form of ‘Short Plays in Hindi’. The said plays named ‘Reedh-Rahit’, ‘Refund’, ‘Patni Par Article’, and ‘Ek Khula Hua Darwaza’ are based on the writings of Anton Chekhov, Fritz Karinthy, Krishna Chander, and H.H.Munro ‘Saki’ respectively. These adaptations are in the Indian perspective.

All the plays are true gems from World Literature. Very nice dramatization. Sets, Costumes, Make-overs were superb. Traditional classic beginning was superb in the form of Bharatanatyam performance. More such productions should be encouraged so that people will get interested in literature and theatre.
ReplyDeleteThe performance of each of the artist in all the plays is amazing. There is a message in each of the play boosted the energy in the audience which is very much appreciable. The "Bharatnatyam" dance performed by the children under the direction of the Director is also appreciated by the audience. (Bittoo)
