Event Description : Pratibimb Kala Darpan presents Munshi Premchand's "Sangram" Hindi Social Play. 

The play ‘Sangram’ is a social and political satire and has illustrated the real issues of farmers. Thakur SabalSingh is a Zamindaar who by his hypocrisy, get arrested the young farmer Haldhar and send him to prison as he wants to get his wife Rajeshwari who is so beautiful & attractive. On the other hand, Rajeshwari also come to know about this incident and decides to take revenge so she herself goes to him and show hallucination. Whether will she get revenge or get herself trapped?

The play also highlights the drawback of farmers who take loan from the rich landlords and cannot pay back in time. And what happens when the entire crop gets destroyed by the untimely rain, well before its cultivation?
