Event Description : British Council and Free Parking Entertainment present "The Compleat Wrks of Willm Shkspr (Abridged)” English Play.
The play is by the company’s Shakespeare wing (The Royal Sheikh’s Spear Company) has been performed over 70 times in 7 cities across India. It has received standing ovations at every venue, and has also been praised highly in leading newspapers and magazines.

The Compleat Wrks of Willm Shkspr (Abridged) condenses all of the works of the Bard into a hilarious, fast-paced parody- performed by only three actors with the help of tacky costumes, wigs and whacky props!
As the madness unfolds, the actors constantly speak directly to audience members, crack jokes at their expense, sit on their laps- and even ask them to participate in the performance of a scene!
The beauty of this show is that if you know Shakespeare you will love it, and if you don’t know Shakespeare you will love it even more!
Highlights include (but are not limited to):
A presentation of Shakespeare’s dark and brooding tragedy -Othello- in the form of a rap song!
All of Shakespeare’s tragedies covered in a football game.
Hamlet performed backwards! (As well as in fast-forward, the shortest-ever performance of Hamlet, which clocks in at 43 seconds!)
