Event Description : Noida: Art Life Gallery, in its pursuit of promoting art is ushering in “Summer Harmony”, a 15-day group show by seven upcoming artists. The young artists in their works have tried to emphasise on harmony which is much-needed in today’s environment.

“Everybody desires peace, harmony and balance, forming comfortable life for themselves and their loved ones. Quite often, it is dependent on their environmental conditions. Every person has a different meaning of peace and harmony. People living in a conflict zone, want to be away from bloodshed. Persons living in abusive relationships, look for harmonious relationships, “ says Pratibha Agarwal, co-promoter of the Art Life Gallery, commenting on H. Rehman’s, work which depicts a girl with bird denoting man’s harmonious relationship with the animals and birds.
The most important thing for peace is for each one of us to experience peace as individuals. When we do that, the "world" as a whole will automatically be "at peace."  Now, if it seems unlikely that we will all concurrently experience peace individually, then the next best thing is for us is to experience peace. “Then at least, for us the world will be at peace, even if the other people who live in it are not,” says Shivani Sharma explaining her painting of Buddha.
People find respite from the harsh world in art. When you step in to watch good art, it is like you are at peace with yourself and in harmony with nature. The responsibility of ensuring harmony does not rest on governments  or corporate bodies only. “Art is the best form of diplomacy that can bring harmony in any state or state of mind,” says Bhaskar Singha, very talented artist from Kolkata, whose work is on show.
“The world needs peace, which flows out of the colours of an artist’s brush. To face the complex world, we need spiritual harmony. The trend of peace development and cooperation provide an opportunity to construct a harmonious world,” concludes Pratibha Agarwal.

The participating artists are Dr. Garima rani,  Bhaskar Singha, Shivani Sharma, H Rehman, Sangeeta Singh and Dr Chandrawati Kumari
