Event Description : 'AURA, The Luminance Of The Omnipresent' an exhibition of artworks by ' nishu ' Natasha Chadha Bhambri.
'nishu ' Natasha Chadha Bhambri, an Indian Contemporary Visual Artist, who believes that "Art is an extension of our being" designs to connect art with the mundane; and in the process reaches out to those corners of life, which else would have stayed untouched by art and its intensity. Together with India Vision Foundation (an NGO by Dr. Kiran Bedi), nishu has found her playground in the Gurgaon district prison. Her project 'ArtConnect' where she is creating artistic ambiance within the prison premises not only serves to sooth and sensitise the entire facility but also stands out as unique because it utilizes the available resources in the premise including, yes, the prisoners convicted of crimes beyond all
imaginations.
‘nishu’ has been, for years now, attempting to connect art with various aspects of life on boards, canvases, murals, installations n sculptures. Her many group and solo exhibitions in different parts of India and abroad have added to her creativity and vision.
In her latest upcoming event, 'AURA ,The Luminance Of The Omnipresent ' she presents a collection of her similar canvas works reinforcing her belief that the ‘The Super-Reality’ is evident in our day-to-day life, not only in divine images, the showers of blessings and the glories and delights, it is as much, present in the struggles and battles, trivia and tragedies of everyday affairs too. It is a retrospective collection of works inclusive of figurative, Symbolic and Abstract conceptual creations. It is not only a delightful watch but also an overwhelming experience of interaction with her beliefs.
Curated By - Anant Vikas-'Spandan' National Art Festival.
