This edition of the Border Movement Lounge is an associated event of "Surge - Pix : Pakistan" a photography exhibition at Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan, 3 Kasturba Gandhi Marg > 14th to 27th March 2015

This edition will focus on Pakistan.

Border Movement Lounge is a platform to showcase established and upcoming artists and producers
from across South Asia. The lounge is an informal event format that hopes to foster a more open and interactive culture of electronic music performance, as well as a more well-rounded appreciation from the local music community.

Each edition of Border Movement Lounge Delhi will focus on a different area of the region, partnering acts with local talent. Previous editions of the lounge have taken place in Colombo, Kolkata and Delhi.

Asfandyar Khan is a musician currently based in Islamabad, Pakistan. Inspired by the likes of Matthew Robert Cooper, Brian Eno, Stars of the Lid and Tim Hecker, his guitar-based ambient music consists of serene soundscapes steadily making their way to gorgeous build-ups and intense crescendos.

Else If is a genre-free act from New Delhi, India comprising of G “Force” Arjun & Puneesh Suri. They draw inspiration from sounds around them, live instruments & technology.
