Event Description : "Kujh Afsaney" Punjabi play.

A collage of the short stories by Saadat Hasan Manto are adapted for stage, which put to trial on the ground of "Obscenity" and anti society under section IPC 292.

KUJH AFSANEY is an invocation to Manto to look at culture and art in the our times of academic & creative censorship, while bringing alive the stories which were interpreted obscene at one point of time, on the one hand, and banning of AK Ramanujan's 300 "Ramayanas" & Wendy Doniger's "Hinduism: An Alternative History of the Hindus", on the other.
