Event Description : Sangeet Natak Akademi presents Screening of "Memories of a Divine Dancer" Compositions of Uday Shankar.

Astra Puja 
A dance from Rajasthan with a display of valour. The women place the sign of victory on the swords and on the foreheads of the warriors, praying and wishing for their safe return.

Harvest 
Boys and girls rejoice in song and dance after the harvest, recalling sowing, reaping, threshing, husking, sifting, loading and transporting of grain.

Raash Leela 
Krishna, in the playfulness of his youth, rejoices with Gopas and Gopinis. He inspires them with his charm and yet-unrealized divinity, and weaves illusions with which he playfully evades the Gopinis.
