Event Description : "Khel Mel Warli" workshop for kids.
Give your child the chance to go on a unique creative journey with a Warli artist! Rajesh Vangad is one of the foremost artists working in this tradition today.
The workshop will be conducted by Rajesh alongside Khel Mel founder, Naira Jansen, an educator with many years of experience. Kids will look at lots of paintings and learn about Warli culture. They will get to invent their own Warli paintings. The workshop will be interactive, hands-on and fun - the best type of learning experience.
Duration : 6 hour workshop over two days at the Crafts Museum with refreshments provided.
Language : Hinglish
About the Organization : Khel Mel is a not for profit initiative focused on connecting mainstream and marginalised kids through art. We run workshops of about 16 - 20 children, half of whom pay to participate. The children go on a creative journey together where they get to explore some aspect of Indian heritage and about each other.
