Event Description : "Seven" English play about Seven ordinary women.
Seven is based on the real life stories of seven women’s rights activists from Nigeria, Afghanistan, Guatemala, Russia, Pakistan, Northern Ireland and Cambodia.

Seven extraordinarily courageous stories. 
Based on interviews conducted in 2007, the play SEVEN was created by seven award-winning playwrights, in collaboration with Vital Voices Global partnership.

Directed by Sanjay Kumar

Cast : Paula Cizmar, Catherine Filloux, Gail Kriegel, Carol K. Mack, Ruth Margraff, Anna Deveare Smith and Susan Yankowitz

Followed by a discussion on combating gender - based violence.
