Event Description : "Khel Mel Gond" workshop for kids

Give your child the chance to go on a unique creative journey with a Gond artist!  
The workshop will be conducted by Gariba Singh Tekam (a Gond artist from Madhya Pradesh) alongside Khel Mel founder, Naira Jansen, an educator with many years of experience.  Kids will look at lots and lots of paintings and learn about Gond culture. They will get to invent their own Gond “signatures” and make their own paintings. The workshop will be interactive, hands-on and fun - the best type of learning experience. 

About the Organization :  Khel Mel is a not for profit initiative focused on connecting mainstream and marginalised kids through art.  We run workshops of about 16 - 20 children, half of whom pay to participate. (The non-paying group for this Gond workshop will be coming from Nirmal School, a foundation run school in Pandara Road.) The children go on a creative journ
