About the artiste : Born and brought up in traditional Jaipur Gharana of music, Anurag started his initial training of Indian Classical music from his father Guru R.K. Rathord. Rigorous practice imbibed in him a sense of discipline and from, which is evident in his singing style. Being a child prodigy Anurag gave his first public performance at a tender age of 3 at National Artiste Convention which was applauded by many senior artistes. Later he was trained under the guidance of Sh. Mustkim Ali Khan from where he developed a sense of rendering ghazals in a very unique way. But the turning point of his life came when he was adopted as a disciple by none other than Pt. Tejpal Singh, senior most disciple of Padma Bhushan Ustad Amir Khan Sahab & torch bearer of Indore Gharana of music. Presently learning under his tutelage, Anurag is working on grasping the critical aspects of “gayaki” and “raagdaari”.
Anurag is one, who expresses the poetic verses with great precision collaborating feelings of love, romance, grief and calamity moulded authentically in a ghazal format. Being a versatile singer he has equal hold on other genres of vocal music. By the grace of god and his mentors Anurag has ability to write as well as to compose his own ghazals. His heart-touching compositions can easily land anyone in the world of sweet memories and joy. Anurag’s interest in music led him to do his Bachelor’s degree in music. At a very early age he secured his position in National Youth Festival. Having too many credits on his name, Anurag has performed widely in various platforms in India as well as in Abroad. He is also associated with many prestigious organizations including Kalashri Foundation. Blessed by senior most artistes and spiritual personalities, he tries to create a connection between his music and divinity.

About the Organization : Kalashri Foundation was founded a decade ago with a sole motive to conserve precious Indian culture. The foundation aims to conserve and promote an awareness of both the rich and heterogeneous cultural tapestry through focus on the classical arts, with their attendant legends, rituals, mythology and philosophy and the deeper and subtler values of these arts. This is of utmost importance, because what we are trying to do here is noble. We are trying to save an art, the art of music, which is precisely, an implication of the collective conscience of the Indian civilization. Guided by Sh. R. K. Rathord, the committee management consists of active performing artists in the field of Indian Classical Music. There is indeed a need of young artists in the coming future, in various fields such as music. India is full of talent but there are very less number of organizations which provide platform to upcoming talent. Kalashri Foundation is one of these rare organizations.  An organization like us intends to promote young talent and nourish and enrich it via proving the best of training that is available. The young artists will then get a chance to exhibit their work to the audience. In such a scheme, the Kalashri Foundation is running training centers and willing to open more for the development of Indian arts. The untiring efforts have been successful in achieving the desired results. For this cause Kalashri Foundation has completed a decade of service.
