Russia for many years have been active in the struggle against international terrorism but at same time has opposed the policy of double standards. The United States previously ignored Moscow's proposals for joint fight against terrorism in Syria, underestimating the threat posed by "Islamic state", which actively supported the militants during the regime change in Libya and attempts to do the same in Syria. Today Russia without coalitions provides assistance and support to Iraq, Syria and other countries in the region to strengthen their capacity in the fight against the IS.
Experts, through the Video Conference will discuss the threats that "Islamic State" brings for the region and will dwell upon the related issues concerning the threat of extremism and terrorism in the neighboring countries, how to create an effective barrier to infiltration by IS in the Russian and Indian territories and will suggest measures to establish regional security.
