Event Description : Alliance Française de Delhi and Kitty Su in collaboration with Institut Français en Inde and The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group present DJ Oof live.
His latest creations are: 4 mash-ups with the aeronautic archives, some for Walt Disney, 11 with the films of the cult animator Norman McLaren and with J. Tati’s movie : Les Vacances de monsieur Hulot (Technicolor foundation).
In 2012, in partnership with the 104, he introduced “les Nuits Ouf”, festivals and conceptual nights of total art and launched the “Danse Conscious” audiovisual show (originally made for a European research program from the London Metropolitan university, HEC Liège & Paris La Sorbonne), his most accomplished work, denouncing the working conditions of a corrupted capitalist system, the non-ethical finance, food industry, oil, nuclear power.
In 2013, he had produced 3 creations for 20 movies about erotism and psychotropic substance in the 70’s: “Pink Scenes”, “Mystic Scenes” (Festival Trip) and “High Scenes” (MusĂ©e de la Maison Rouge).
Oof writes electro-dreamy-pop music under the name Zzouf (with Zero dB) or Lunivers (with Lena Kaufman), a mixture of electronic and psychedelic rock released under the labels True-thoughts and Fluid Ounce. This successful record gave birth to his first video clip “Happy Route”.
As a DJ he realized numbers of eclectic mix tapes of rock-electro-soul-hip hop music and produced more than 200 events in Paris. As a psychedelic art collector, he has curated about 20 exhibitions of rare and colored works of art, mostly related to the counter-culture of the 60’s (Biennale de Lyon, Centre Pompidou and various art galleries).
The new introductions are in 2014 are: a book which depicts the decreasing utopia, the transmedia film “Le Bruit Invisible”, an artistic eco-village project development (www.eva.coop) and Lunivers on tour.
Oof is also the founder of pingpong.fr, a cultural marketing agency that has been taking care of Ninja Tune since 1998 in France.
