Event Description : "Perception: A different way of seeing" a group exhibition of sculptures, paintings & photography.

“Perception: a different way of seeing” is an exhibition showcasing artists from a wide range of artistic backgrounds. The arty expressions range from sculptures to paintings and photographs- and represent distinctive perspectives. 
Each of these artists work stand for their own virtues and are strongly individualistic in character, they nevertheless have a common cord running between them.
All methods of expression are one way or another personal, somehow connected to the hand of the maker. For many artists, their life is inextricably related to their artwork, incorporating rudiments of memoirs, personality, gender, race, and sexuality etc. For others, it is indirect at in their practice or use of material. For this open call exhibition, we asked artists to submit work that reflects their inner expressions. 
Artists responded in a variety of ways, submitting their own interpretations. Some painted nature; others recommended personality traits through abstract compositions and mixed-media. Some reflected their familial and societal positions, others their own modes of communication and expression. Some of these artists are young still: their art will surely find much further improvement. But, one may surely say that within the means of their command they all bring us moving experiences. They are quite energetic to discover life forms. This exhibition talks about art as a practice, and offers us an insider’s perspective on how an artist sees art, giving us the means to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the art work and artists. So, come and feel the range of colors, the shades of acrylic, the multidimensional effects of photography, the new all exciting variety of mix media art, the feel of rough sculptures, the mystery of textures and so much more.
