About Surmani Saniya Patankar
'Surmani Saniya Patankar' is senior disciple of eminent Guru Dr. Ashwini Deshpande of Jaipur Gharana. Saniya is agraded artiste of Doordarshan and Akashwani. She has Mastery over Khayal, Thumri, Dadra, Tappa, Gazal, Natyageet, Bhavgeet, Bhajans and Folk Music. She is recipient of many scholarships and awards like Akashwani Gold medal, Pt. Jasraj Award, Pt. D.V. Paluskar ' Surmani' title, Ramkrishnabua Vaze Award. Ustad Alladiya Khan Award etc. She has performed solo in USA and Austrilla and also all over India in Major festivals like Tansen mahotsav, Alladiya Khan mahotsav, Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki Mahotsav etc.
About Pt. Pandit Mani Prasad
Pandit Mani Prasad is an eminent vocalist of Kirana Gharana. He revived his training from his father Pandit Sukhdev Prasad and his grandfather Pandit Shakti Lal. He had invented new ragas and has composed new bandishes in the name of Dhyan Rang Piya. He is well known for his Khayal Gayeki. He has performed in Europe, Africa, USSR, Canada and Arabian countriews and had won laurels. He has received Raseshwar Award, Swarmani Award and Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academi Award among others. He has sustained the Guru Shishya Parampara and had many young talents in Hindustani classical music.
