Event Description : Launch of 'Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana'. 

While the Prime Minister will be launching "PRADHAN MANTRI JAN-DHAN YOJANA" tomorrow at Vigyan Bhawan, the State Bank of India-South Delhi District is organising its own program to launch the scheme. There will be a camp to open these accounts tomorrow, 10 am onwards. Later in the evening at 4 pm the scheme will be officially launched at the same venue. There will be dignitaries and beneficiaries at the launch. 

The aim of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana is to ensure that every household has at least one bank account. Under the scheme, every account holder gets a RuPay debit card with a Rs 1 lakh accident cover.
