Event Description : 'Mystic Life' painting exhibition by Shree Kant Dubey.
About the Artist :
Shree Kant Dubey is the embodiment of true artistic spirit. At the tender age of 14, he lost his right hand in an unfortunate accident. But that did not diminish his passion for art. He gradually started using his left  hand to paint, a task which tested his strength of mind and spirit. He was recognized as one of the finest art students in his school. His painting have been widely exhibited. A figurative painter, his work centred on paintings of Gods and Goddesses for more than two decades. He also depicted several sensitive social issues through his paintings. During the India Book Awards - 2009, he was awarded for making more than 7000 paintings on various subjects. This is a great achievement for someone who has surmounted a physical handicap . He has also researched on the great Leonardo da Vinci , who has been his inspiration. Currently, as an art teacher in Ramjas School, Shree Kant is inspiring students to achieve greatness in art.
