Event Description : Interactive session via Digital Video with Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri. 

Ms. Davuluri, a social entrepreneur, science professional and dancer, is the first Indian-American to be crowned Miss America. She will join us by video chat to talk about diversity in the United States and about the importance of education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM0, and to answer questions from the youth in India. The DVC will be moderated by the Smithsonian Institution's curator Dr. Masum Momaya, who has recently curated an exhibit about Indian-American contributions to the United States throughout its history.
