Event Description : The Rachana Yadav Kathak Studio presents 'Hum Kadam 2014' annual program by its Kathak students based on musical instruments. 

This year Hum Kadam will present ‘VAADYA’. A performance based on musical instrument.
In any dance form , instruments have a very crucial role to play. In fact they create and reflect the feeling of the dance. In India we have an array of instruments be it wind instruments ,string instruments, or percussion. 

The instruments taken are : FLUTE; SARANGI; SITAR ; MANJIRA; AND PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS LIKE PAKHAWAJ, NAGAARA , DAMROO ETC.

This will be followed by a special presentation by PT. JAIKISHAN MAHARAJ on the expertise of ‘ Lucknow Gharana’.
