Event Description : Art Shows Unlimited presents 'Gainsbourough' an exhibition of paintings, sculptures & installations
Art is nothing but expression. We as the most evolved creatures of this universe are in a continuous dialogue- at times with our own selves and often with those around. Impressions of what we think and what we perceive is what we communicate. Also as a potent media of expressing ones thoughts and perceptions works as a dialogue between man and man. And what better can it be, when this dialogue serves a noble cause too.
We at ARTS UNLIMITED, the gallery behind the show believes in expanding the horizons and providing a worthy platform to some very promising artists, who have stayed away from display of their works, due to their modest financial backgrounds; to display their artworks. We feel proud globally renowned artists like Vijender Sharma, Manish Pushkale, Hemraj, Bipasha Gupta, Fida Khan and Adittee Garg are supporting us in this noble cause. Continuing our legacy, ARTS UNLIMITED brings forth some selected works of [6] artists, Six eminent, other participating artists along with three supporting artists.
Unlike most other shows, each piece of art put on display has been selected by eminent jury members, something that makes us stand apart from our contemporary curators. Each piece on display has been minutely studied by the eminent jury and thereafter approved due to its uniqueness or its excellence.
It is the most painful truth that some great masters hailing from different art eras have been barely acknowledged for the masterpieces they created during their lifetime. One such artist was Thomas Gainsborough the great European master, who excelled in figurative & nature work. An uncelebrated legend of his time, the entire team of behind this show feels honoured in dedicating this show to Thomas Gainsborough.
ARTS UNLIMITED, the gallery promises that it shall try its best to keep striving hard to bring the lesser known masters of past to the forefront and give the budding artists of today, a platform to display their works with some eminent contemporary artists.
