Event Description : Shoelace productions presents 'Animal Song' A Hindi/punjabi Musical comprising of 3 short musical stories (Kutte, Majh and Donkey) exploring humans and their relationship with animals.

Kutte (कुत्ते ) - Man's relationship with dog is often more poignant than the one he builds with his own kind or even his own self. Here is a song and a story, connected yet disconnected and disconnected yet connected. The play was nominated for 6 awards in short and sweet 2011 and bagged best script award.

Majh (मझ) - Story of two brothers in a torn Punjab, the story delves into the politics of Khalistan movement and goes beyond the usual politics. The play deals with one of the least important question plaguing human existence - What is more important a nation or a buffalo? 

Donkey - A mundane journey of exploring religion, partition and nationhood with a donkey.
