Event Description : Screening of film "Hola Venky"

Director and writer Sandeep Mohan, with his second feature film Hola Venky, has embarked on a distribution medium that in the past brought silver screen magic to the rural parts of the country. Mohan calls it The Great Indian Travelling Cinema, where he visits cafes, workplaces, and even your homes (if you don’t mind) to screen his new indie movie for you. Elaborating on why he chose this method of reaching the audiences, Mohan says, “I didn’t want to go through the censor board and didn’t want their label on my movie. It was more like a protest on my part.”
