Event Description : 'A Straight Proposal' a Play.

A Straight Proposal`` is a play that talks about the LGBT community of India. To be more specific, it follows the problems and possibilities of gay people in the current Indian political scenario. The play is about a man who is in search of love, a diary that reveals his reality, his death and a truth darker than one could imagine. ``A Straight Proposal`` deals with topics like love, death, mystery and truth. All the scenes were titled with a page number and date. Each date is relevant to the LGBT movement in India. In fact, each page number is an article of the Indian Penal Code, which criminalizes every single act of a human being in some way or the other. This play tackles the complexities of human relationships and talks about social equality
